Welcome to Council Tax.

We are a Division of the Directorate of Finance, ICT and Procurement of Dudley MBC and are responsible to the Director of Finance and the Senior Assistant Director of Finance. The Assistant Director of Revenues, Benefits and Management Support, Mike N. Williams is in charge of the day to day management of the Division.

Council Tax helps to pay for Council services including education and social services, the West Midlands Police Authority and Fire & Civil Defence. The Council receives money from the Government and income from Business Rates, although this is not enough to cover the whole cost of Council services. The difference is made up by the Council Tax.

Information is available on this site concerning valuation banding, current charges, exemptions and discounts, payments and recovery action. You can also register for e-Billing and view your balance and payment details online.
