Trading Standards are responsible for making sure that all weighing and measuring equipment used for trade complies with the relevant legislation. This can be anything from a beer glass, weighbridge, supermarket scale or petrol pump. We have a 'state of the art' laboratory at our headquarters in which much of the weights and measures testing is conducted.
