Becoming a trader on Dudley Market is easy

 

  1. Complete the ‘Application to Trade’ form available at the foot of this page or online at our secure website

  2. Have a utility bill, which is less than three months old, with your name on as proof of your address

  3. Have your passport or photo driving licence as proof of your identity

  4. Hold public liability insurance certificate with indemnity cover up to £5 million  

 

When you have all of the above documents, contact the Market officer on 01384 815264 or 07799 070193 and arrange a meeting. The Market officer will check your documents and assuming they are in order the market officer can agree a suitable stall for you to trade from and a date to start trading.

Becoming a permanent trader

 

Permanent stalls are available to all traders, just ask the market officer.

 

To have a permanent stall you DO NOT need to:

 

  • sign a lease agreement

  • pay a deposit

  • pay stall rent in advance


Vehicle access to stalls

 

Vehicles are allowed on to the Market Place for traders to unload and load goods. Vehicles must be removed from the Market Place by 9.30am as it is a pedestrian only area from 10am until 4pm.  Vehicles are allowed into the Market Place at 4pm on weekdays and 4.30pm on Saturdays.
