From 19th July 2021 we will no longer provide a Local Land Charges Search Service.
After this date, our Local Land Charges Register will have migrated to H M Land Registry's National Register. You will be able to access a new digital service through Portal, Business Gateway and on H M Land Registry's GOV.UK page.
Dudley MBC will continue to provide replies to Con29 enquiries. It is important to remember to only submit the required fee for the Con29 to us following 18th July 2021. For more information please visit GOV.UK

Non refundable administration fees

Fee 1 – Requests for information only - £33.20 (£39.84 inc VAT)

Fee 2 – All other applications - £332.95 (£399.54 inc VAT)

Fee 3 – Request for temporary consent - £90.95 (£109.14inc VAT)
To occupy/cross Council land.
Payable when submitting your application. Cheques to be made payable to DMBC. Credit/Debit card payments can be taken over the phone once a completed application has been received. Please note that work will not be started on your application, until a complete application has been received. Should you pay Fee 1 for an information only request and then go onto make a full application, a further fee of £359.97 will be required before we can proceed.
No refunds will be issued under any circumstances.

Surveyors fees - £350.00 approx

Solicitor’s fees - £500.00 approx
Surveyors and Solicitors fees are based on a % of the land value and on the complexity of the transaction. You will be advised at the appropriate time of the fees that will apply to your transaction. Please note that you will be expected to pay the Councils fees as well as your own if the matter goes ahead.
