The fee for an application for a permit to operate an installation is the sum of the fees payable for each Part B activity to be carried out at that installation, as follows: 1) Any reduced fee activity (other than at items II and III) £142 2) PVR 1 and PVR II activities carried out at the same service station(a) £236, 3) Vehicle refinishers(b) £332, 4) Any other Part B activity £1514 |

(1) Where an operator has been operating an installation without a permit in contravention of regulation 12, he or she must pay the following fee when he or she submits an application for a permit, in addition to the fee payable in article 6:- (a) £65 in the case of an application for a permit authorising any reduced fee activity; (b) £1090, in the case of an application for a permit authorising any other Part B activity. (2) Where a direction has been issued under regulation 33 whereby a local authority is to exercise Environment Agency functions under a single permit covering Part B and waste activities, then for any other Part B activity described in item IV of the table in article 6 the operator must pay £285 in addition to the £1514 permit application fee. |
