Stourbridge Town Centre regeneration

Earlier this year, council bosses welcomed the news that the ownership of the Crown Centre and Bell Street car park had been transferred to Tesco who will develop a new £50million state-of-the-art store on the site.

The new store will create hundreds of jobs and it is hoped it will be the catalyst for further future investment and regeneration in the town.

For details about the new store go to the Tesco website for more information.

Bell Street car park closed in February and was demolished on Sunday April 1.  Alternative car parking has been identified in the town centre - see a map of alternative car parking in the related documents section below.

Up-to-date information about the project will be posted here.

A series of questions and answers are available in the related documents section at the bottom of this page.  These will also be updated regularly.
