Grounds Maintenance Standards within Borough Cemeteries & Crematoria

The Green Care section is responsible for the grounds maintenance operations on council-owned cemeteries and crematoria within the borough. This work includes grass cutting, hedge cutting, verge cutting, shrub bed maintenance, flower beds and rose bed maintenance.

Summer
1st April - 31st October
Daily 09:00am to 6:00pm

Winter
1st November - 31st March
Daily 09:00am to 4:30pm

The crematorium buildings are locked 30 minutes before the grounds close at Gornal Wood Crematorium
