We recognise that there is increasing interest in greener options concerning burial and cremation. Often the main difficulties the bereaved have is trying to find information on the subject.
We have a small “Woodland burial” section at Gornal Wood cemetery and we welcome alternative coffins for either burial or cremation. The concept of the cardboard coffin has come a long way and there are many different types of coffins available. If you do intend to order one please ensure that you inform the manufacturer whether it is for burial or cremation as the practical requirements differ.
