Memorial Trees at Stourbridge Crematorium

Planting a new tree, or installing a bench or plaque helps people to come to terms with their loss and creates a special place for friends and family to visit and to remember and reflect.

At stourbridge the memorial trees are pre planted within the grounds of the Crematorium and Cemetery.

A plaque is supplied with the memorial tree, and there is a maximum of three dedicated plaques per tree allowed.

How long will the plaque remain beside the tree?

The right to place a plaque besides a memorial tree is for a lease period of 10 years. During that time we accept responsibility for the tree’s care and attention including free replacement if necessary.

Can cremated Remains be scattered?

Please note that cremated remains are not scattered around the base of the tree.

Only small bulbs or plants are permitted around the base of the tree. No vases, photographs or items tied to a tree are allowed. There are a limited number of trees available.
