Dudley Office is located at Priory Hall, which stands in the centre of the beautiful Priory Park and 12th Century St James Priory ruins. The office offers two marriage venues, The Priory Suite which is an approved premise or The Castle Suite which is within the Register Office.

There is a side entrance for wheelchair access and there are toilet facilities for people with disabilities. A booklet has been produced which has a range of selected verse that may be read by one of your guests during the ceremony. Please ask the Superintendent Registrar for a copy.

Marriage Ceremonies are performed Monday to Saturday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm for most of the year. In winter the appointment times will vary according to the daylight hours. There is a choice of two ceremony rooms available at Priory Hall; the Priory  Suite and the Castle Suite.

The Priory Suite

Within Priory Hall is The Priory Suite, a high quality approved premise that can accommodate up to 57 guests.  It retains the original, hand carved, full oak panelling, windows and stone fireplaces.  It is furnished to a very high standard of décor. The premise is a popular and highly sort after venue that ensures that extra special wedding experience. A wedding here can be tailor made to include ushering, music, and poetry readings etc.  There is ample parking for guests and wedding cars are able to stop outside the entrance.  (Disabled parking is also available). 

The Castle Suite

The Castle Suite can accommodate up to 24 guests.  This room is half oak panelled, with original windows and has quality furnishings in tones of silver and blue.  Gentle background music is played before and after the ceremony.

Priory Ruins

Dudley Register office is situated in Priory Hall in the grounds of Priory Park. There is ample car parking behind the register office. There is no charge for parking at the Priory.

Priory Hall is set in acres of mature well-maintained parkland, which contain the 12th century St James Priory Ruins, affording many beautiful photographic points for wedding pictures within this setting.

All of our venues are suitable for wheelchair access and offer toilet facilities for people with disabilities.
