Best Value Performance Plan

Best Value has become a central feature in the work of Dudley Council.  Within this Plan you will find a great deal of information on the work of the Council, so you can judge how well we are performing, what others think of us, and our plans to improve services in the future.

 

Our aim in preparing the Plan is to set out the information in a clear, straightforward manner.  Within the Plan you will find information on:

 

 

There is a great deal to reflect upon, and anticipate.  Nationally the Government continues to focus upon modernising public services with a succession of changes for local government to respond to.  There is also a huge amount of work arising locally in response to local people's views and aspirations.  The Council welcomes these changes. We are determined to achieve further improvements in the quality of our services, to be responsive to the needs of local people, and innovate in the way we look at how the services of the Council are provided.

 

As last year, the Best Value Performance Plan has been produced incorporating the Council Action Plan and performance data and targets (BVPIs) and not as a stand alone document.  This provides a single point to review recent performance and to set out our intentions and ambitions for the next 12 months.
