Select Committee on Culture & Recreation

bumble
Introduction from the Chair, Councillor Geoff Southall

Select Committees do not have the power to make decisions on behalf of the Council, but we do have extensive powers to conduct research, encourage & enhance community participation, make recommendations to the Executive and Council, and question Lead Members and Chief Officers about decisions and performance. This gives us a valuable role in helping to make a very positive difference to the lives of people in Dudley Borough.

There will be an item on each agenda of this committee, for issues the public may wish to raise about leisure or cultural services within the Borough. The slot is open to all members of the public. If you have a burning issue then contact Democratic Services, Directorate of Law and Property via Dudley Council House to find out how to participate.
