Ensuring technical excellence in Registration Services’
The West Midlands Regional Training Group (WMRTG) is concerned with providing a training framework which can be accessed by practitioners across the West Midlands Region to improve consistency.
The framework provides an action plan which outlines how we share best practice and knowledge through the changing world of registration services.
We focus on providing a framework to ensure excellence is promoted and maintained across the region.
We will aim to:

Be advocates for new developments within the registration service and consider any impacts they may have upon staff and service delivery

Outline how best to provide identified training requirements across the region

Consult and relay feedback from practitioners on plan and approach

Provide centralised training courses identified through need and request

Act as a pilot for new initiatives from the General Register Office, LACORS or other relevant bodies
