Setting up childcare.

Day care is care provided at any time (day or night) for children under eight at a venue other than domestic premises for more than a total of two hours a day.

Childminding

A childminder is a person who looks after one or more children under the age of eight for more than a total of two hours a day on domestic premises (other than the child’s own home.)

Dudley has a childminding network which is a group of registered childminders that have undergone an assessment to ensure that they are working towards quality assured standards.
