Children's Services Transport

 
What is the Children's Transport Service?
 
The Children's Transport Service are responsible for the planning and organisation of transport for school / alternative provision and Social Care for all eligible children and young people in accordance with the Directorate of Children's Services, Transport Policy. The arrangements are made to ensure the welfare of the child or young person is of paramount importance and in such a way to maximise the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the service provision.

To support this all applications for home-to-school transport are considered individually, taking into account the relevant legal requirements and the circumstances of each applicant.
