Mentoring Programme
DPA offers a Mentoring Programme for new and developing artists trying to access work related training.
It can be extremely difficult for young and developing artists to gain the necessary experience and qualifications to enable them to fulfil their goal as a working artist. DPA have created the Mentoring Programme which lets developing artists follow a trained professional in their chosen field, such as in dance or drama. DPA are also encouraging young and developing local artists to live and work in Dudley.
For more information on this programme, please contact Maggie Lewis at DPA on 01384 813865.
Community Dance Practitioners Course
In collaboration with East London Dance.
DPA runs a training programme for people intending to lead dance in the community.
This involves working towards a 60 hour Level 3 qualification, accredited via the Open College Network and is offered at nac. The course equips leaders and teachers with essential knowledge and skills to lead dance in the community.
