Dudley Schools’ Library Service provides high-quality advice, support and resources to schools and other educational settings, assisting them to improve achievement and raise standards, and promoting reading for enjoyment.
Our aims are to:
- assist schools to develop and extend pupils’ reading abilities and skills
- support and enhance the quality of teaching and pupils’ learning experiences in Dudley schools
- assist schools to improve achievement and raise standards, particularly in Literacy
We offer:
loans of books and other resources
Literacy support
activities to promote reading and extend pupils’ reading abilities/skills
professional advice and practical help in the development, organisation and management of school libraries/resource centres
other professional support and development opportunities
