Share-a-sets
Our Share-a-sets can be booked several terms in advance, including reservations to cover the whole school year. Please book as early as possible to avoid disappointment..
New resources - artefacts
In response to feedback, we are increasing our range of artefacts. A catalogue of our current stock is now on the "Resources and Loans" page. Artefacts can be booked well in advance.
Dudley Teen Book Award
The Dudley Teen Book Award is a joint project between the SLS, Dudley public libraries and secondary schools. Pupils nominated, read and voted for books, and the results were as follows:
1st - Lily Alone (Jacqueline Wilson)
2nd- Shadow (Michael Morpurgo)
3rd (joint) - Boys Don't Cry (Malorie Blackman)
3rd - (joint) - The Longest Whale Song (Jacqueline Wilson)
The results were announced at a special ceremony at Himley Hall. Puplls enjoyed meeting the authors Dyan Sheldon and Paul Dowswell.
