Youth Work
What is youth work?
Youth work is about working with young people to give them the support, advice and information in the transitionary years between childhood and adulthood.
Dudley Youth Service works with young people aged between 13 and 19 years. The aim is to ensure that the young people of Dudley have access to a quality youth service that provides youth centres, detached youth work, specialist projects and fun activities.
Meadow Road Youth Centre
Meadow Road Youth Centre is part of Dudley Youth Service. The staff and volunteers engage with young people to:
Support them in their transition from dependent child to independent adult.
Assist their personal & social development through informal education and seeks to engage them in lifelong learning.
Enables them to have a voice and influence the services delivered at Meadow Road Youth Centre.
Is a universal service open to all young people & promotes equality of opportunity.
