The deadline has been extended until 7th October 2011.

Dudley Youth Service supports Dudley Youth Council each year to organise the Dudley Youth Awards.

And the time to nominate for Dudley Youth Awards 2011 is here!

The Dudley Youth Awards aim to recognise and celebrate the achievements of young people who live in the Dudley borough. Anybody can nominate young person for the following categories:

  • Arts and Entertainment

  • Contribution to School or College

  • Sport

  • Community, Charity and Voluntary Work Individual

  • Bravery and Courage

Groups of young people can be nominated for the Community, Charity and Voluntary Award Group who have made an impact together to the lives of others in the local community.

People can also nominate an adult for the Mary Growcott Award. This award is given to an inspirational adult who has truly made a difference to the lives of young people who they work with. Mary Growcott was a lady who lived in the Pensnett area of Dudley, and she made a big difference to the young people in that area by dedicating her life to them. Mary passed away a few years ago, and the youth council introduced this award so her hard work would never be forgotten.
