Animal Licences

 
The Council licences a range of animal establishments and also dangerous or wild animals.

Animal Boarding Establishment: Information on the licensing requirements for animal boarding establishments.
 
Dog Breeding Establishment: Information on the licensing and regulation of dog breeders and establishements.
 
Exotic, Dangerous and Wild Animals: Obtaining a license for keeping exotic, dangerous and wild animals.
 
Operating a Riding Establishment: A licence is required to operate a riding establishment.
 
Grazing Land: The council owns a number of sites within Dudley MBC which it lets for horse grazing. Grazing land is only offered on a 364 day licence agreement.
 
Performing AnimalsIf you train performing animals, such as for advertising or a circus, animals you must register with the Council.
 
Pet Shop: Licensing of pet shops and retail premises selling domestic animals.
 
Zoo Licence: A Zoo licence is needed if wild animals are exhibited to the general public on more than seven days in any 12 consecutive months.
