e-Government National Awards 2009

 
Dudley Council’s online planning service are finalists in the e-Government National Awards 2009, which recognise and celebrate best practice in public sector ICT services. The service is short listed in the take up and usage growth category which rewards high and growing take up of online services. 
 
Winners will be announced at an award ceremony on Wednesday 20th January 2010, chaired by UK Government CIO John Suffolklater.
 
In the latest figures released by the department of communities and local government’s planning portal, show Dudley Council received 60.3% of planning applications online in the second quarter of 2009/10, an increase of more than 30% compared to the previous six months.

Unitary Development Plan

The Dudley Unitary Development Plan (2005) is now available on-line with an interactive proposals map which shows what land-use designations and planning policies apply in Dudley Borough up to 2011.

From 5th October 2009 the post determination minor planning application amendments process has been revised. A review of the new process guide and the submission form is now available.
