Scheduled Ancient Monuments are some of the most important features in the Borough and are selected by the Secretary of State. They are nationally important archaeological features and are composed of buildings, earthworks and isolated structures. A list of all the Scheduled Ancient Monuments in the Borough is displayed below.
Scheduled Monument Consent, that is permission from the Secretary of State, is needed before works of any type are carried out on the site.
