Link Road from the A449 to the Dudley Southern By-Pass

The Council has resolved to progress work on the suggested link road which would form part of the Strategic Highway Network.

The UDP change will establish the principle of a new link road within Dudley.

Detailed work including option appraisal and environmental appraisal will be undertaken as part of the Local Transport Plan process over the next three years.

Public consultation will be an essential element of this detailed work.

The consultation period for the Pre-Inquiry Changes ended on 22nd November 2002.
