Environmental Protection Team

 

The Environmental Protection Team monitors air quality throughout the Borough and keeps check on the levels of pollution into the air and land from industrial and domestic premises. They provide advice and guidance to industry on all related matters and responds to 1,300 requests for service per year. EP enforces legislation relating to noise and emissions and manages the control of 155 Authorised Processes within the Borough. The Team also deals with matters relating to land contamination.
