Reduce and Reuse

Whilst a concerted effort to recycle is important, we need to put greater emphasis on our efforts to reduce and reuse rubbish.

Food waste digesters, junk mail, real nappies and many other useful ideas are covered in this section.

Domestic Waste Collection

The Council operates a back door sack collection service for domestic refuse. We only collect domestic household waste in plastic sacks.

Garden Waste Collections

Dudley Council collects garden waste from each household.

Waste Enforcement

The council has powers to protect and improve our borough. The issues looked at are those that can have a negative impact on the local environment and include; abandoned/nuisance vehicles, untaxed vehicles, fly tipping, littering and dog fouling.
