Commercial Waste
 
If you are a business - waste collection is not included within your Business rates. Dudley Council can offer a chargeable Commercial Waste collection service. We can provide the following services:-
  • 1100 litre Eurobins
  • 660 litre Eurobins
  • 240 litre Wheelie bins
  • Trade Waste Sack
 
 
Duty of Care (Business)
 
All business in the UK regardless of their size must comply with the Section 34 the ' Duty Of Care' provisions of the Environmental Protection Act 1990. The act requires you as a business to take reasonable measures to prevent unauthorised deposit, treatment and disposal of your waste.

Commercial Trade Sacks
 
These are available to customers who do not produce large amounts of waste or are unable to accommodate a waste container. The Trade Sack is green in colour and bears the logo of the Council. The price includes collection, disposal and Vat.
 
 
 
Commercial Waste - Disposal Sites
 
Dudley Council operates a Civic Amenity Site for the disposal of household waste, however it is also licensed to accept small quantities of commercial/trade waste. This facility is situated off Birmingham Street (A458) at Stourbridge.
 
Resource efficiency and recycling
 
There are a number of organisations who can help local businesses to become more resource efficient, reducing the amount of waste produced and saving money. Dudley MBC does not offer a trade waste recycling service, however, there are local companies who can offer recycling services for items ranging from office waste to construction or agricultural waste.
 
Container Steam Cleaning
 
Steam cleaning of commercial-sized metal containers is available from the Council, upon request for a fee per container. The container that requires cleaning will be removed and replaced with a clean container.
