Local Development Framework


The planning policy context for the Borough is changing; on the 3rd February 2011 the four Black Country Authorities adopted the Black Country Core Strategy which forms the basis of the Council’s Local Development Framework. The policies in the Core Strategy will now replace some of the policies in Dudley’s Unitary Development Plan. Recycling

The Council provides a fortnightly kerbside recycling scheme for the collection of paper, glass and cans from all properties with ground floor access. It also provides facilities for the recycling of a range of materials including glass (bottles and jars), paper and board, food and drink cans, textiles, auto-oils, scrap metal, timber, car batteries, garden waste, old toys, books and shoes.

The Local Land Charges Service is for people buying property and land within the Dudley Borough boundary. The service gives buyers information which may affect a particular property or plot of land.
