Car Parking
The NNR car park is located off Wrens Hill Road, a short distance from the Caves Public House. The car park is open between 9.30 am - 4.00pm, Monday to Friday.
Opening Times
The nature reserve is open 24 hours.

Disabled Access and Facilties
The topography of the site is varied and we would suggest that visitors with specific requirements contact us before you travel to ensure that you have the necessary information. The Highlights Walk to the key features of the NNR has recently been upgraded and would be suitable to a mobility scooter or for a wheelchair user with some additional support.
Refreshments and facilities
There is no visitor centre at Wren's Nest NNR. Refreshments can be purchased in the canteen of Mons Hill College, which is located in the middle of the NNR, off Wrens Hill Road.
Group Bookings
Please ensure that group bookings, even if not requiring a guide/wardens assistance are registered with the wardens, prior to your visit. This will enable us to keep accurate visitor records. School visits should be booked through the wardens team, by using the Booking form
Directions by Road
Exit M5 at Junction 2. Follow the slip road around to the left and you will come to a large roundabout. Take the exit signposted A4123 to Dudley. This is a dual carriageway. Continue along this road, through several sets of traffic lights, for about two and a half miles. Eventually the A4123 becomes the Birmingham New Road and you will start to see brown and white signposting for Wren's Nest. Follow the brown and white signposting directing you onto Priory Road, Dudley. Take the turning into the Wren's Nest NNR where there is a large, free car park.
By Bus
Bus number 207 from Dudley Bus Station from Stand N will take you to Priory Road, Dudley. The bus stop is right outside the entrance to the car park on Priory Road. For further information on public transport please ring Traveline on 0870 608 2 608 or visit the Network West Midlands website.
By Rail
The nearest train station to Wren's Nest NNR is Tipton Railway Station. Tipton Railway station is reached via Birmingham New Street for people travelling further distances. There are no bus services that connect to or from Tipton Railway station neither is there a taxi rank or cab office therefore, advance booking is essential.
