An atlas for health in Dudley now available

 
A new health report for Dudley which covers topics such as childhood obesity and binge drinking is now available.
Valerie Little, Dudley’s director of public health's annual report for 2007 can be found at the link below. 
 
The report entitled, A Sense of Place – An Atlas for Health in Dudley, is a new departure in public health annual reporting in Dudley.  It takes the form of borough maps depicting different aspects of health experiences from data taken during 2007.
 
It’s designed to make links between urban planning and health and covers areas such as childhood obesity, play areas, adult exercise and binge drinking.

The Walkzone

The Walkzone has been developed to assist you in walking to gain health benefits. It has been designed to enable you to plot a walking route from your door using aerial photography. The route will provide you with a suggested time based on your ability.

Safeguard and Protect Policy and Procedures

Dudley Council with its partner agencies has produced the Safeguard and Protect Policy and Procedures. The procedures set out the steps which must be followed in all cases involving actual or suspected abuse, and the process for carrying out investigations and co-ordinating the work of different agencies.
