Child Protection

Dudley Safeguarding children Board is responsible for ensuring the safety and welfare of all children and young people in Dudley by:

Raising awareness of child protection for all professionals discharged to provide care or services to children and young people.
Ensuring that all such professionals are trained to know how to respond to concerns about child abuse
Promoting public health and awareness initiatives to safeguard children & young people
Establishing and updating, in response to local/national research findings and outcomes from specific enquiries, safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure appropriate prevention and protection strategies
