Dudley Safeguarding Children Board
 
 
Children can only be safeguarded properly if the key agencies work effectively together. Local safeguarding children boards (LSCBs) are designed to help ensure this. 
 
In Dudley the board is known as the Dudley Safeguarding Children Board and will replace and expand on the former Area Child Protection Committee.
 
A new web site and the board itself was launched in April 2006. The site provides information for children and young people, parents and carers and multi-agency professionals about the board and it's duty to safeguard Dudley children and young people.
