Living a full life - Day Services and other opportunities

We provide many day-time activities for people with a learning disability – the aim is to help people to maintain and develop new and existing skills which will help them to be as independent as possible.  We do this by helping people to access ordinary social and leisure facilities in their community and to meet other people and make new friends.

The activities we offer include:

  • Gardening
  • Voluntary work
  • Sport and keep-fit
  • College courses
  • Computers
  • Music
  • Cooking
  • Art and design
  • Sewing
  • Craft activities
  • Nature studies
  • Shopping
  • Bowling
  • Trips to places of interest
  • Communication skills

Plus the opportunity to gain nationally recognised qualifications by attending courses run by local colleges.
