Good Health for Older People

Dudley Council is concerned with health in its widest sense. It is about more than just treating people with ill-health, it is concerned with promoting healthy lifestyles, preventing illness, and reducing the inequalities in health across the Borough.

The numbers of Older People in Dudley are increasing rapidly and are estimated at 54,726 by 2006.
The Government National Services Framework for Older People ensures that services for Older People are continuously improved.
