Home Care Night Service

Short intensive night sitting

Is provided in an emergency situation to avoid admission into hospital or residential care. The care is normally provided for one night to assess the needs of the individual service user.

Night sitting

Following an assessment of need, care can be provided throughout the night. Carers may either sit with the person or visit at regular intervals to turn people or assist with toileting.
