Help for Adults

We assess the needs of adults and arrange care packages to enable them to live as independent and fulfilling lives as possible within our communities.

 

Social Services Adult Services Team carry out assessments and are available at various locations across the Borough.

 

Once an assessment of need has been undertaken, care packages, involving service users and carers, are constructed and put in place.  Care packages will be of varying intensity and may be delivered in the service user's own home, day centre or within a care home environment.

 

The care packages are delivered by Social Services and by providers from the Independent Sector.
