Weekend Service

The weekend services provide a specialised service for older adults with dementia related needs.

 

The services are based at Rowan Lodge (within Shenstone O.P.H) in Halesowen and the Pavilions Day Centre in Brierley Hill. These are open from 10.00 am to 4.00pm on Saturday and Sunday.

 

Currently at the Pavilions, a total 12 spaces are available each day, with 10 spaces available at Rowan Lodge.

 

Activities offered at the centre include: daily living skills, arts and crafts, relaxation and gentle exercise, reminiscence, music therapy, quizzes and games. These activities are planned to encourage social integration and increase self-confidence. There are also organised trips within the local community.
