If the Council needs to improve or modernise your property, or, adapt it for your specific needs, it may be necessary to offer you alternative temporary accommodation while the work takes place.

 

A tenant requiring adaptation of their property will have been assessed for their long-term needs, and these adaptations will be carried out to their permanent address. Alternative temporary accommodation will only receive the minimum of temporary adaptations needed to make it habitable in the short term.
