Hello everyone,
New Chapel Street Tenants and Residents Association have been running now for about five years. We beilieve that by working together as a community we can really improve our estate. The group have recently elected a new Chairperson, and he wants to extend an invitation for anyone from the Chapel Street area to get involved with the group in any way that suits them. You don't have to come along to meetings (but you are very welcome), but you can support the group in a way that suits you and your circumstances. Some of the projects we have worked on are:
- Community Clean up Days
- Upgrading of lighting across the estate
- Organising trips for local residents to encourage involvement
- Working together with other agencies to get a supermarket and chip shop on the estate
We have recently produced our own colour newsletter to keep you informed of our work, local stories and initiatives. This has been distributed to everyone across the estate. If you want a copy please email Participation Development Officer, Jo Gumus or contact on 01384 818283.

The Police, Housing Manager and Councillors will be there.
