Parkes Street Area TRA

On the 5th October 2007 Park Street Area Tenants & Residents Association turned 3 years old. We have enjoyed our first two years together,working hard for the Parkes Street Area making new friends and learning to communicate. Meetings are a lively forum where everyone feels free to express opinions and share idea's and identify projects to work on.

This year it has been identified that rubbish is being put out too early, we worked with Dudley Urban Environment to produce a leaflet warning people against this which was delivered by the TRA. We have also been working hard to combat the parking issues in Parkes Street and the speeding along Fenton Street.

We have worked with our Housing Manager to submit further community safety bids. We should be seeing the following

re-tarmacing of the footpath between 12-15 Tobruk Walk and
sensor lighting for 12–15 Tobruk Walk in the near future.

We are still going strong and enjoying working for the local community. We have recently changed the venue for our meetings and would like to ask for you to continue supporting us. Our group covers the following streets; Tobruck Walk, Sion Close, Fenton Street, Brockley Close, Parkes Street and Albion Street. We have committee meetings on a monthly basis and several General meetings per year.

Tuesday 10^th March 2009 Annual General Meeting

All meetings are held at The Saracen’s Head, Dudley Rd, Brierley Hill and start at 7pm

We advertise our meetings with a leaflet, which is delivered to every property within the above streets; we also display posters at local venues. If you have an issue please attend one of our future meetings we may be able to help you.
