Pool View Tenants & Residents Association

We represent the Stourbridge Road flats (even numbers only) and have now been up and running for over a year. We are now an established committee and have attended various training to enhance our skills. One of our aims is to share information with our members by inviting guest speakers to our meetings and also attending local meetings.

A strong link has been developed with our Housing Manager Sue Lloyd-Davies and with her help we have applied for community safety money to complete the following projects. We also hold walkabouts to identify things that need doing to keep our area nice and safe.

Improved lighting to the flats,
Resurfacing to pathways and trees cut back
Some fencing to the rear of flats

We have also set up a garden project with the Ambelcote Christian Centre who’s members have given up their time to come and help us with our gardens so we can all enjoy our open space.

All our hard work has not gone unnoticed and at the 2006 networking evening held by DFTRA we were presented with the best new comer’s award.

We are looking forward to 2008 and have already set our meeting dates so why not come along and get involved,

All meetings are held on a Wednesday at 11:00am
