Arley and Compton TRA
Arley & Compton Tenants Association has been established for over nine years now and during that time we have really worked hard to improve our estate.  Here are some of the things we have acheived by working with our Housing Manager and other Council Departments:
 
  1. Extensive CCTV installed with the most up to date recording equipment in the Borough
  2. Improved external ground works and lighting around the blocks - including carparking
  3. New and improved lighting to all landings
  4. New carpets to landings throughout the blocks
  5. Flood lighting to all carparks
  6. Recycle facilities now in place outside the blocks
 
Just to name but a few.... 
 
We really need to carry on working together to improve our estate.   A project we are hoping to work on, inconjunction with our Housing Manager, is identifying fencing around the blocks which needs replacing with metal trip fencing, do you think this is a good idea?

All meetings are held in the Tenants Room at Compton Court at 7.00pm
 
Our chairperson, Steve, is a representative on the Central Dudley Area Panel and representatives of our group attend the High Rise Living Forum, which is a dedicated forum to address the needs of Tenants of High Rise Blocks across the Borough.  If you have any issues you want the group to raise on your behalf please contact us through our Participation Development Officer.
 
Block Inspections
The TRA hold six weekly inspections of the blocks with our Housing Manager and other Council Agencies,  we identify problems within the blocks that need investigating or work to be carried out, if you want to attend these walkabouts then contact our Housing Manager, Fay Vaughan on 01384 818283, she will be happy to advise you of the dates of the block inspections.
