We have been established for over 10 years now and during that time we have worked hard to improve our estate. Here are some of the things we have achieved by working with our Housing Manager and other Council Departments:
- Extensive CCTV installed with the most up to date recording equipment in the Borough
- Improved external ground works and lighting around the blocks - including car parking
- New and improved lighting to all landings
- New carpets to landings throughout the blocks
- Flood lighting to all car parks
- Recycle facilities now in place outside the blocks
Our chairperson, Steve, is a representative on the Central Dudley Area Panel and representatives of our group by attending the High Rise Living Forum, which is a dedicated forum to address the needs of Tenants of High Rise Blocks across the Borough.
Block Inspections
The TRA strive to hold 6 weekly inspections of the blocks with our Housing Manager and other Council Agencies, we identify problems within the blocks that need investigating or work to be carried out, if you want to attend these walkabouts then contact our Housing Manager, on 0300 555 2345, they will be happy to advise you of the dates of the block inspections.
