Tanhouse TRA

Working with Dudley Council, there has been a reduction in the amount of litter in our area.  As well as the recycling collections every two weeks organised by Dudley Council, we have also sited Dog Foul Bins and Litter Bins throughout the estate. After a slow start this has proved very beneficial for the estate and environment.

The TRA has been instrumental in promoting a Feasibility Study to develop three areas where children can play and youths can meet on their own estate in safety. Work on these areas is expected to start this autumn with a view to being ready by Spring 2008.

For the last 2 years we held a Charity Fun Day and this has proved to be a very successful event. Considering the weather was against us this year the turnout from the Community and those involved in the promotion, was extremely good. This year we were supported by the Beacon Thunders and their Bear, local Councillors, local businesses and a host of willing helpers.

As with every TRA we have tried to help all tenants and residents who have come to us with a variety of concerns and have mostly been successful.
