Formed in July 2005, with a whole new committee being elected in November 2010.
We continue to support the original aims of the TRA which are to improve our community.
The committee has recently obtained a grant to purchase equipment to enable us to work more efficiently for the tenants and residents on the estate making it a better place to live. This equipment included a laptop, printer scanner copier, laminator, shredder, digital camera which has bought us up to date with technology and made it a lot easier to work alongside the professional agencies which we are involved with.
We have also used money allocated to us from the companies who site their aerials on Chaucer House to install lighting at the rear of this building.. Negotiations are currently nearing competition to use the remainder of this money and additional funding from other sources to upgrade the CCTV cameras in Chaucer House, provide illuminated signs for each block and clear several pots of land on the estate.
Our long term aims of improving community spirit and pride in our area remains one of our priorities.
