Norton Green, Stourbridge Tenants and Residents Association (TRA)

We cover the Norton area of Stourbridge and welcome local people to attend public meetings. Our aim is to improve our neighbourhood by tackling local issues and promoting community spirit. We hold regular public meetings, events and are always working hard to involve our whole community.

Estate Walkabout Details:

The estate walkabouts are going extremely well, and they are helping to improve the area we live in. If you want to come along to these please do so. They are an excellent way to raise any issues you may have. The group hold regular estate walkabouts with our Housing Manager. Everyone is welcome to attend.

St Georges Day Celebration:

Norton Green Tenants & Residents Association members have again gone that extra mile and organised a ‘St Georges’ day celebration to help raise funds for Mary Stevens Hospice.

The ‘St Georges’ get together for friends and neighbours was organised to help raise money for this very worth-while charity and the day helped to raise over £100 for Mary Stevens Hospice, whilst friends and neighbours got to meet each other over tea and cakes.

Committee members who organise lots of charitable and community events, said “it was a really great day with so many people coming along to support us, it was a real team effort”.

Community Trips:

The TRA work hard to organise various trips to across the country, everyone is very welcome to attend these day-trips, which are well attended and enjoyed by everyone. We work with a local coach company who strive to give us competitive rates which ensures that prices are kept low for our communities benefit.
