Exciting plans to regenerate the North Priory area are continuing. Dudley Council, residents and councillors are working together to regenerate the North Priory estate as a desirable place to live, with homes suitable for the whole community now and in the future.
Chosen to join the partnership are Bromford Group (housing association) and developer Haslam Homes/Keepmoat Homes. Bromford has promised to offer training and job opportunities for local people and to provide a community centre, as we as managing the rented and shared ownership homes. We’re on course to move all current residents into other accommodation by Christmas which will be followed by demolition and rebuilding.
The plans include building over 300 homes on the North priory estate, of which there will be a mixture of social rented properties, shared-ownership and private sale. There’ll be a range of house types including houses, bungalows and apartments all built to a high environmental and safety standard.
Now we’re inviting you as residents to have your say on the design of the estate and its future management.
