Reform of Private Sector Housing Renewal

This Housing Renewal Policy has been adopted by the council to implement the requirements of the Regulatory Reform (Housing Assistance) (England and Wales) Order 2002. This gives councils wider powers to offer assistance. The council has resolved that:

Adopt a new local policy for Private Sector Housing Renewal

Agree the transitional arrangements for dealing with existing applicants

Agree the shape of future outline priorities for Dudley

Delegate authority for producing the Dudley Housing Assistance Scheme to the Lead Member for Housing in consultation with the Director of Housing.
