DPA events

DPA prides itself in creating opportunities for the young people engaged with our activities to take part in performance events. As well as playing at venues based in the Dudley borough we also travel to prestigious venues and events in other parts of the country to enable our young people to experience a wide range of performance opportunities.

DPA also creates its own events for young people to perform at including an annual Summer Festival in Dudley town centre as well as a Spring Festival and a Winter Festival in different performance venues in the borough.

What's on at Netherton Arts Centre (NAC)

NAC is located in Netherton and operated by Dudley Performing Arts. The centre has a fabulous theatre space which is used to stage many DPA performances. The centre is also used by a variety of local and regional amateur and professional organisations to stage their events.

VTime singing groups for primary school aged children

Learning to play a musical instrument or to sing is a fantastic thing to do and our VTime singing group is the perfect start to a young person’s musical journey.

As well as being great fun, singing helps develop a good musical ear that helps with all instrument playing as well as singing.

VTime is for primary school aged children of all levels of ability – from absolute beginners to those with experience of singing. There is no entry requirement and there’s no cost to take part.

View the VTime flyer for more information.

Calling all wind and string players

Come and join our Up Beat Wind Band or our Up Beat String Orchestra. Just turn up with your instrument and join in. It’s fun, and it’s free.
