Financial Support

Disabled Facilities Grants (DFGs) are available following an assessment and recommendation by an Occupational Therapist.  DFGs are normally the means by which adaptations in privately owned property are funded (the housing department funds adaptations in council owned property).

Dudley Council’s Access Guide

The Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) gives disabled people important rights of access to everyday services. The Council has made adjustments to premises and services to make them accessible for everyone. Our attractions such as museums, leisure centres and public buildings vary in their facilities and what they have to offer disabled people.

Please use our online Dudley Council’s Access Guide to plan your visit ahead.
